1/13/16 SAF Meeting at St. Francis YC

SAF Station held its first meeting of 2016 at the St. Francis YC on January 13th. Our speakers were our own members, the husband/wife team of Matt Brooks and Pam Rorke Levy. Matt and Pam presented a wonderful slide show about their historic and beautiful ocean racing yacht Dorade's "Return to Blue Water." This successful campaign began with a restoration of Dorade in 2010 and 2011 followed by ocean races to Bermuda, in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, the 2013 Transpacific Yacht Race, the 2015 Transatlantic Race and the 2015 Fastnet Race. Dorade was incredibly successful in her "Return to Blue Water" which is a testament to Matt and Pam's attention to detail and tradition.
